Tito Ortiz appeared to retire following his knockout victory against Chuck Liddell at Golden Boy MMA: Liddell vs. Ortiz 3 last month, claiming that he was “done” with MMA. Now, it seems he might have left one task undone.

On Monday, “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” responded to Chael Sonnen on Twitter after the former Ultimate Fighting Championship middleweight title challenger posted mocking comments regarding the ages of the 43-year old Ortiz and 48-year old Liddell. A clearly annoyed Ortiz suggested that he was open for a rematch with Sonnen.

“[Chael Sonnen] so you want me to kick your ass again?” Ortiz wrote. “This time I’m not going to choke you out. I’m going to beat you down. Or are just infatuated by the way I live?”

The pair previously met at Bellator 170 last January with Ortiz defeating “The American Gangster” by first-round submission. The bout was Ortiz’s last fight before meeting Liddell, while the 41-year old Sonnen has fought three times since then, defeating Quinton Jackson and Wanderlei Silva and losing to Fedor Emelianenko.
