Torres, Bowles on Weight for WEC 42

Bantamweight champion Miguel
Torres and challenger Brian
Bowles both weighed in at 134 pounds Saturday at the official
weigh-ins for WEC 42 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Torres (37-1) will make his fourth 135-pound title defense
Sunday.
Joseph Benavidez, considered the promotion’s No. 1 bantamweight contender, and opponent Dominick Cruz tipped the scales at 135 pounds.
Marcus Hicks
missed the lightweight cut-off, as he weighed in at 159 pounds.
Opponent Shane
Roller, who came in at 156 pounds, opted to accept a
catch-weight bout.
