A cast member on Season 27 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Diamond was successful in his promotional debut, as he outpointed Jon Neal at LFA 66 on May 10. The former NCAA Division I wrestler’s only loss in 11 career appearances came via majority decision against Bryce Mitchell at the “TUF 27” finale.
The 21-year-old Barbosa is a protégé of former UFC champion Lyoto Machida and has won 12 of his first 13 professional outings. “Coxinha” is 2-0 under the LFA banner and is coming off a first-round technical knockout victory over Nate Jennerman on May 31.
