All nine UFC
119 competitors subjected to drug screens by the Indiana Gaming
Commission have passed their tests.
The news was first reported by MMAjunkie.com Tuesday.
Fighters tested included main event combatants Frank Mir and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic, as well as co-main event athletes Ryan Bader and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Additionally, Melvin Guillard, Chris Lytle, Matt Mitrione, C.B. Dollaway and former UFC lightweight champion Sean Sherk all passed their tests.
All nine fighters were tested for performance-enhancing drugs as well as recreational drugs like marijuana and cocaine.
UFC 119 marked the organization's first event in Indiana and was capped off by a Mir knockout over Filopovic in the third round of their heavyweight tilt. The night also saw then-undefeated prospect Evan Dunham fall to Sherk via a controversial split decision in a scrap that won “fight of the night” honors. UFC 119 took place on Sept. 25 at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
