UFC 176 Update: Lightweights Tony Ferguson, Danny Castillo to Clash in Los Angeles

A lightweight showdown between Tony Ferguson and Danny Castillo has been booked for UFC 176.
The promotion announced the bout on Wednesday. UFC 176 takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Aug. 2 and features a featherweight title clash between Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes in the evening’s main event.
“The Ultimate Fighter 13” winner, Ferguson is 5-1 in the Octagon, with his only loss coming to Michael Johnson at UFC on Fox 3. Most recently, “El Cucuy” knocked out Katsunori Kikuno in the first round at UFC 173.
Castillo enters the matchup having won three of his last four fights. “Last Call” earned his first victory of 2014 with a second-round knockout of Charlie Brenneman at UFC 172.
