Injury has forced Vagner Rocha out of his bout against Joseph Duffy at UFC 185 “Pettis vs. Dos Anjos.”

Ultimate Fighting Championship officials Wednesday announced that Jake Lindsey will take Rocha’s place in the 155-pound matchup. Headlined by a lightweight title fight between champion Anthony Pettis and top contender Rafael dos Anjos, the pay-per-view event takes place March 14 at American Airlines Center in Dallas.

Duffy, 26, is best known as the last man to defeat current UFC featherweight star Conor McGregor. After going 3-1 in 2011, “Irish Joe” was out of action until 2014, when he earned two wins before getting the call from the Las Vegas-based promotion.

Lindsey has lost two consecutive fights via finish. “The Librarian” submitted to heel strikes against Jon Tuck in June, and then was forced to tap after being locked in an inverted triangle kimura against Olivier Aubin-Mercier in October. The two losses under the UFC banner are the first Lindsey has suffered in his five-year career.
