UFC 206 Medical Suspensions: Cub Swanson, Doo Ho Choi Among Those Facing 60-Day Layoffs

Cub Swanson and Doo Ho Choi have both been suspended for 60 days following their entertaining slugfest at UFC 206 this past Saturday.

The Ontario Athletic Commission recently released a list of medical suspensions from the event. Swanson and Choi went back and forth for three rounds in their featherweight duel, with Swanson ultimately emerging with a hard-fought unanimous verdict that will end up on many “Fight of the Year” lists for 2016.

UFC 206 took place at the Air Canada Center in Toronto and saw Max Holloway claim the interim featherweight title with a third-round technical knockout win over Anthony Pettis in the evening’s main event. Pettis, Matt Brown, Tim Kennedy, and John Makdessi also received 60-day suspensions from the Ontario commission.
