By Tristen Critchfield Oct 3, 2017

A lightweight battle pitting Drakkar Klose against David Teymur has been added to the UFC 218 lineup.

The UFC recently confirmed the bout to the Detroit Free Press. UFC 218 takes place at Little Caesars Arena on Dec. 2 and will feature a pivotal heavyweight showdown between Alistair Overeem and Francis Ngannou.

Klose, 29, earned his second promotional triumph when he took a split decision over highly-regarded striker Marc Diakiese at “The Ultimate Fighter 25” finale on July 7. The MMA Lab product debuted in the Octagon with a unanimous verdict against Devin Powell at UFC Fight Night 103.

Teymur, meanwhile, has kicked off his UFC tenure with three consecutive triumphs. Most recently, the 28-year-old Swede took a Decision over Lando Vannata at UFC 209 to improve his career mark to 6-1.
