Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will square off against Ryan Spann in a light heavyweight tilt at UFC 237.
Brazilian outlet Combate was first to report the booking. UFC 237 takes place on May 11 in Curitiba Brazil and will feature a strawweight championship clash between Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass.
Nogueira returned to action for the first time in nearly two years at UFC Fight Night 137, where he scored a second-round technical knockout of Sam Alvey on Sept. 22. The 42-year-old “Minotouro” has competed infrequently in recent years, compiling a 3-3 record in the Octagon since 2013.
After earning a contract on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, Spann outpointed Luis Henrique Barbosa de Oliveira in his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 137. The 27-year-old Texan is currently on a five-bout winning streak and owns a 15-5 professional mark overall.
