Kamaru
Usman will earn a flat $500,000 purse for his title defense
against Colby
Covington ($500,000) in the night's welterweight main event.
Featherweight king Max
Holloway is set to take home $350,000 regardless of the result
against the streaking Australian challenger Alexander
Volkanovski ($250,000) in the co-main event. Amanda
Nunes, the third champ fighting on the card, will make $350,000
with the potential for a $100,000 win bonus in her rematch with
Germaine
de Randamie ($100,000). This potential payday for Nunes is
actually smaller than when she competed at UFC 239 in July, as
Nunes
made a total of $500,000 by smashing Holly
Holm.
