UFC 247 Weigh-in Results: All Fighters Make Weight

The ordering process for Ultimate Fighting Championship pay-per-views has changed: UFC 247 is only available on ESPN+ in the U.S.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship makes its return to Houston for its second pay-per-view of the decade. UFC 247 will be headlined by a light heavyweight title tilt between Jon Jones and undefeated challenger Dominick Reyes. Rounding out the main card is a women’s flyweight championship bout as Valentina Shevchenko puts her belt on the line against Katlyn Chookagian and plenty of Legacy Fighting Alliance veterans. With all fighters making weight, the card is now officially set for Saturday night.

Jones (25-1, 1 NC) promised to stay active since he regained the light heavyweight belt at UFC 232 and he’s done just that. Since knocking out Alexander Gustafsson, Jones has picked up decision wins over Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos. He’ll look to take out another new challenger in Reyes. The champ easily made weight by coming in at 204 pounds.

Reyes (12-0) has been perfect in his mixed martial arts career thus far both in the professional and amateur ranks. 2019 was a breakout year for him as he won a split decision over Volkan Oezdemir and knocked out former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman to earn a title shot. The challenger looked prepared on the scales and weighed in at exactly 205 pounds.

The co-main event will see Shevchenko (18-3) look to make her third title defense against Chookagian. Since winning the vacant title against Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Shevchenko has looked a step above the rest of the flyweight division. She had an unforgettable head kick knockout of Jessica Eye and then outclassed Liz Carmouche in her most recent bout. A heavy underdog, Chookagian earned the opportunity by stringing two wins over Joanne Calderwood and Jennifer Maia together. Both Shevchenko and her challenge made weight by coming in at 124.5 pounds.

UFC 247’s main card will air live on ESPN+ pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. ET. Early prelims will stream on both ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass starting at 6:30 p.m. and two hours of prelim action will air on ESPN beginning at 8 p.m.
