UFC Brooklyn Medical Suspensions: Alexander Hernandez Gets 60 Days After TKO Defeat

Alexander Hernandez was one of three fighters from UFC Fight Night Brooklyn to receive a 60-day medical suspension.

The New York State Athletic Commission released a list of medical suspensions from the event on Wednesday. Hernandez suffered a technical knockout loss to Donald Cerrone thanks to a head kick and follow-up punches at the 3:42 mark of round two in a preliminary lightweight contest. The NYSAC does not reveal the specific nature of its suspensions. Cerrone was given a mandatory seven-day sit.

UFC Fight Night 143 took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Jan. 19 and saw Henry Cejudo defeat T.J. Dillashaw by technical knockout in 32 seconds in the evening’s main event. Dillashaw will be sidelined 30 days, while Cejudo got the mandatory minimum suspension.

Karl Roberson, who was submitted in the opening round by Glover Teixeira, and Belal Muhammad, who lost a decision to Geoff Neal, where the only other two competitors from the card to receive 60-day suspensions.
