Demian Maia has built his career on upending bigger, faster and stronger opposition in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Can he do it one more time?

A short-notice fill-in for the injured Santiago Ponzinibbio, Maia clocked in at 171 pounds ahead of his five-round showdown with “The Ultimate Fighter 21” winner Kamaru Usman (170) in the UFC Fight Night 129 headliner at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile. Meanwhile, Alexa Grasso (115) and Tatiana Suarez (115) also met the contracted weight requirements for their co-main event at Friday’s official weigh-in.
