UFC Fight Night 130 Bonuses: Allen, Silva, Stewart, Breese Pocket $50K Awards

Arnold Allen, Claudio Henrique da Silva, Darren Stewart and Tom Breese all earned $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonuses for their efforts at UFC Fight Night 130 in Liverpool, England on Sunday.

Allen authored an stirring comeback victory against Mads Burnell in a featured 145-pound contest. After being grounded repeatedly throughout the fight, the 24-year-old English fighter took advantage of an opening in the third frame, locking his opponent in a guillotine choke and forcing a tapout at the 2:41 mark of the period.

Silva made short work of Nordine Taleb in their welterweight tilt. The London Shootfighters member landed a takedown in the opening frame, softened Taleb with ground-and-pound and eventually moved to full mount. From there, the Brazilian transitioned to the back, secured a body triangle and elicited the tapout with a rear-naked choke 4:31 into round one.

Elsewhere, Stewart captured his first Octagon triumph in impressive fashion, defeating Eric Spicely via technical knockout in their middleweight scrap. Stewart dropped Spicely with a left jab in the second period and unloaded with hammerfists, elbows and punches to get the finish at the 1:47 mark.

Finally, Breese made a successful transition to middleweight, as he disposed of Daniel Kelly via technical knockout 3:33 into round one. Breese hurt his adversary with a left uppercut and put Kelly away with a series of punches in his first appearance since June 2016.
