Although typically a formality, the Ultimate Fighting Championship weigh-ins of late have each brought their fair share of drama, this week included.

The UFC's busy February comes to an end this weekend as it puts on its fourth event in as many weeks. UFC Fight Night 186 will see heavyweight contenders Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Ciryl Gane look to make a statement at the other’s expense. The 10-fight card is now official after the weigh-ins took place, but not everyone made their contracted weight.

The biggest miss on the scales came from Maxim Grishin as he missed the light heavyweight limit by 4.5 pounds. The card also lost a welterweight bout between Ramazan Kuramagomedov and Alex Oliveira after the Russian withdrew due to illness, per MMA Fighting. The cancellation was later confirmed by the UFC.

Having successfully bounced back from the first loss of his career by knocking out former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos, Rozenstruik (11-1) looks to pick up another impressive scalp here. Prior to being knocked out by Francis Ngannou, “Bigi Boy” had KO’d Alistair Overeem, Andrei Arlovski, Allen Crowder, and Junior Albini inside the Octagon. Rozenstruik stepped on the scales at 254.5 pounds.

Also coming off a knockout win over dos Santos is Gane (7-0). The French fighter has impressed in his four bouts inside the Octagon and has shown off a well-rounded game by submitting Raphael Pessoa and Don'Tale Mayes. “Bon Gamin” officially weighed 247 pounds for his first UFC main event.

UFC Fight Night 186 will stream entirely on ESPN+. You can watch the prelims at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT, while the main card kicks off at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
