Anthony Lapsley vs. Albert Tumenov
Round 1
The welterweights spend their first minute feeling out the striking range, and it’s Tumenov who lands first with a left hook that knocks Lapsley to the ground. “The Recipe” pops back up, and now Tumenov has some confidence, stalking the southpaw Lapsley near the fence. Lapsley shoots a long double-leg, gets stuffed and shoved away. Lapsley is fighting with his back to the cage now, and he eats another hard left hook on the cheek. Lapsley finally steps off the cage and walks into a sizzling left hand. Tumenov is poised to deliver more punishment, but referee Keith Peterson has seen enough. The Official Result

Round 1
Salas shoots low and the lightweight scramble for position until they wind up against the cage. Salas backs out, then shoots again and finally drags Wall down to his knees. Wall sits up against the fence and takes a knee to the body, and Salas delivers another as the Australian stands. Wall stuffs the next takedown attempt and barely blocks a head kick. Another clinch from Salas goes nowhere, and now Wall catches him with an uppercut in the pocket. Salas clips Wall with a right hand out of the Thai plum and follows up with a straight left that sends the “Manimal” to the canvas. Salas follows up with some thunderous right hands on the ground and leaves Wall in a daze, trying to grapple with referee Gary Copeland. The Official Result

Round 1
Lentz sticks his left hand in Gamburyan’s face with a couple jabs and then goes to the body with a knee. Both men duck under punches, and Lentz comes up shooting for a takedown against the fence. Gamburyan defends but absorbs a couple more knees to the gut. Lentz keeps finding success with knees but strays low with a punch to the thigh. Gamburyan takes a moment to recover and gets back to work with a nice right hand counter. Another double-leg from Lentz puts Gamburyan back on the fence, and “The Carny” switches to a body lock to pull the Armenian to the mat. Gamburyan gets back up and hits Lentz with punches to the sides of the head while he shoots for another takedown. Lentz gets Gamburyan back to his knees before the horn.Sherdog Scores

When they resume, Gamburyan lands an overhand right that draws a smile from Lentz, and then another which takes the smile away. Lentz seems to have recovered as he pops Gamburyan with a right hand, but Gamburyan forces him to the ground after a botched guillotine. Lentz powers back to his feet and pushes Gamburyan against the fence. Gamburyan cracks Lentz with a couple elbows to the side of the head before being taken down. Now it’s Lentz landing left hands as Gamburyan kneels against the fence. Gamburyan seems to be complaining of knees on the ground, but Lentz is firing them right at Gamburyan’s chest. Back up comes Gamburyan, still held against the cage by Lent, who is constantly kneeing “The Anvil” in the clinch. Lentz lands one more knee to the head in the last seconds, and Gamburyan heads back to his corner with a sizeable mouse beneath his left eye.Sherdog Scores

Gamburyan drives forward to put Lentz on his back, and Lentz gives up a loose guillotine in favor of butterfly guard. Referee Jerry Kryz issues a quick stand-up command, and Gamburyan takes a few seconds before shooting on Lentz against the cage. Lentz threatens with a guillotine before standing and shoving Gamburyan on the fence with an underhook. One minute into the round, Wineland finally sends a straight right hand down the center. Eduardo keeps the low kicks coming, taking out Wineland’s lead leg with one inside. Wineland stands up quickly to resume his feinting, blocks a high kick with his forearm and slips a couple punches. A couple straight rights connect for Eduardo, and he ducks under return fire from Wineland to initiate a clinch. Wineland shoves him away and whiffs on an uppercut, then nods to acknowledge as Eduardo lands another hard low kick. Eduardo clips Wineland with an overhand right on the chin. Cummings steps over and escapes as Cabral tries to complete the submission, and now the welterweights are back on their feet. Cabral looks for a single-leg against the fence, but Cummings hops on one leg and defends. Both men hit the ground in a whizzer, and when they come back up, it’s Cabral retaking the outside position in the clinch. Referee Krzys pauses the action after Herman takes a knee to the cup, but “Short Fuse” needs only a short time to recover. As soon as they resume, Herman cracks Natal with a knee in the clinch. Natal comes away from the exchange with blood dripping down his forehead, but he still manages to push Herman away with a front kick. Now it’s Natal initiating a clinch against the cage, but he doesn’t mount any offense from the position. The veteran is riding too high and Smolka shakes him off to take top position. Cariaos swings his legs around, first looking for a triangle and then an armbar, but Smolka yanks his arm free to stand up. The flyweights go back to clinching on the fence, where Smolka drives a hard knee into Cariaso’s gut. They exchange positions on the cage as referee Herb Dean calls for action. Cariaso obliges with a trip takedown, stacks up Smolka and allows him to stand. Smolka is on the offensive now, attacking with a body kick and a right hand. Cariaso responds with a pair of hard punches upstairs, backs away and gets driven into the fence again. Cariaso grabs a loose headlock as he’s taken down again, but Smolka doesn’t appear too concerned with the threat of a guillotine. Magny is slipping most of Means’ punches and high kicks, but Means is able to catch a kick and trip the longer man to the ground. As Magny comes back to his feet, Means lands a hard knee to the head. Magny drops to the ground to escape from a guillotine, nearly being mounted by Means before powering back to his feet. Magny hits another bodylock trip takedown midway through the round but again cannot hold Means on the mat. Referee Herb Dean is the third man in the cage for tonight’s welterweight main event, with judges Sal D’Amato, Chris Lee and Cardo Urso scoring at cageside. Brown pushes forward on Silva, who tries to fend off the American with oblique kicks. Brown just keeps coming and gets dumped to the ground, but he quickly scrambles back to his feet. Silva drops Brown with a body shot near the fence and then works to pound him out with punches and elbows. Brown hangs in there, so Silva changes tactics and jumps on Brown’s back. Brown tries to walk off the fence while defending a rear-naked choke. Silva gets a tight squeeze on a neck crank, but Brown peels his hands off and scoots back toward the fence. Silva digs his heel into Brown’s gut before Brown twists around and explodes back to his feet. Brown chases a suddenly wobbly Silva across the cage, bombing the Brazilian with punches and then blasting through the Thai plum with knees. Silva is in survival mode, jogging away from Brown, who catches up and foot-sweeps him to the ground. Silva gets up, but Brown is waiting with more heavy hooks and knees. Brown trips Silva to the mat and lands in a crucifix, but he can’t pound out the Brazilian with the heavy right hands that come after.
