UFC Fight Night Sioux Falls Update: Alex White-Ryan Hall Featherweight Bout Canceled

A 145-pound showdown between Alex White and Ryan Hall has been removed from the UFC Fight Night Sioux Falls lineup, promotion officials announced Tuesday.

The matchup was canceled due to an undisclosed injury suffered by White, and Hall elected to fight on a different date rather than have the promotion find him a replacement opponent for the July 13 card. As a result, the event will move forward with 12 bouts.

UFC Fight Night takes place at Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and is headlined by a bantamweight showdown between Michael McDonald and John Lineker. The evening’s main card airs on Fox Sports 1 beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

White is 2-2 during his Octagon tenure and is coming off a unanimous decision triumph over Artem Lobov in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night “Hendricks vs. Thompson” in February. Hall, who is 5-1 as a pro, won “The Ultimate Fighter 22” with a dominant three-round verdict over Lobov this past December.
