UFC Fight Night Weigh-in Results: Frank Mir-Todd Duffee Main Event Gets Green Light

Within the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s thin heavyweight division, fighters are never more than a win or two away from opportunities of serious significance. That is the situation in which Frank Mir and Todd Duffee find themselves.

Mir tipped the scales at 262 pounds ahead of his five-round battle with Duffee (241) in the UFC Fight Night “Mir vs. Duffee” main event on Wednesday at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego. Lightweight co-headliners Tony Ferguson (156) and Josh Thomson (155.5) also hit their contracted weight requirements without issue at Tuesday’s official weigh-in.

UFC Fight Night “Mir vs. Duffee” -- which airs live on Fox Sports 1 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT -- will also feature a women’s bantamweight clash pairing Jackson-Wink MMA rep Holly Holm (135) with Marion Reneau (134.5), a bantamweight scrap pitting Scott Jorgensen (135) against fellow World Extreme Cagefighting veteran Manny Gamburyan (135), a lightweight tilt matching Kevin Lee (156) with Black House export James Moontasri (155) and a welterweight affair slotting Resurrection Fighting Alliance alum Alan Jouban (170.5) against Matt Dwyer (169).

Two hours prior, Fox Sports 1 will carry four undercard bouts: Sam Sicilia (146) vs. Yaotzin Meza (145.5), Jessica Andrade (134.5) vs. Sarah Moras (135.5), Rani Yahya (135.5) vs. Masanori Kanehara (136) and Igor Araujo (171) vs. Sean Strickland (171). The two remaining preliminary matchups will stream to UFC Fight Pass at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, as Kevin Casey (185.5) meets onetime Jungle Fight titleholder Ildemar Alcantara (185.5) and former Bellator MMA champion Lyman Good (170) faces Andrew Craig (170.5).
