Zuffa, the company that owns the Ultimate Fighting Championship, made another major announcement this morning regarding its popular UFC Fight Pass digital platform. Adding to its already deep library of exclusive live and archived footage, the Las Vegas-based promotion is scheduled to stream Shooto Brazil 54 this Sunday.
The entire 12-fight card will stream live in its entirety from the Hebrew Social and Sports Club in Rio de Janeiro. The event will be headlined by the vacant Shoot featherweight title tilt between Felipe Froes and Paulo Guerreiro. The telecast will be available online on UFC Fight Pass and will begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
Mixed martial arts pioneer and broadcaster Jason Chambers will handle the English language play-by-play and sitting beside him will be none other than former World Extreme Cagefighting and UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz on color commentator duties.
