UFC President Dana White Reveals Lineups for July ‘Fight Island’ Cards

The co-main event of UFC 251 will see Alexander Volkanovski face off against Max Holloway once again for the featherweight belt, while Petr Yan and Jose Aldo will battle for the vacant bantamweight belt. Rounding out the pay-per-view card are two notable women’s matches: Jessica Andrade vs. Rose Namajunas and Amanda Ribas vs. Paige VanZant.
A rare Wednesday event, the July 15 UFC Fight Night, will be topped by featherweights Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige. The co-main event will see former lightweight king Frankie Edgar take on Pedro Munhoz in his bantamweight debut. Other main card bouts include Carla Esparza vs. Marina Rodriguez, Abdul Razak Alhassan vs. Mounir Lazzez and Jared Gordon vs. Chris Fishgold.
On July 18, a new flyweight champion will hopefully be crowned as Deiveson Figueiredo rematches Joseph Benavidez. Figueiredo won the controversial first outing between the pair of fighters but missed weight. Kevin Gastelum will return in the co-main event as he takes on Jack Hermansson. The rest of the main card includes Marc Diakiese vs. Rafael Fiziev, Ariane Lipski vs. Luana Carolina and Alexandre Pantoja vs. Askar Askarov.
A middleweight tilt between Robert Whittaker and Darren Till will headline the July 25 event. In the co-main slot is about between Pride Fighting Championships veterans Mauricio Rua and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Also on the card is Alex Olieveira vs. Peter Sobotta, Alexander Gustafsson making his heavyweight debut against Fabricio Werdum and Danny Roberts taking on Nicolas Dalby.
