The Octagon will return to the “Land of Enchantment.”
On Feb. 15, the Ultimate Fighting Championship will hold a Fight Night card at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, a suburb of Albuquerque. The promotion announced the news on Monday.
This is set to be the promotion’s second trip to the state. On June 7, 2014, the Las Vegas-based organization was in Albuquerque for UFC Fight Night 42, where Benson Henderson defeated Rustam Khabilov by submission in the main event. The card also featured the likes of Diego Sanchez, John Dodson, Rafael dos Anjos, Bryan Caraway and Sergio Pettis.
It should be expected that Jackson-Wink MMA fighters will be featured prominently on the card, given the gym is located in Albuquerque.
Tickets are set to go on sale on Dec. 20.
