This marks the first non-pay-per-view headlining fight for Adesanya (24-4) since 2018. "The Last Stylebender" is coming off the first back-to-back defeats in his career as he lost the belt to Sean Strickland via unanimous decision and then submitted to a face crank by current titleholder Dricus Du Plessis. At 35, the Nigerian kickboxer stepped on the scale at 185 pounds on the dot.
Meanwhile, "The Sniper" is riding a three-fight winning streak. Imavov (15-4, 1 NC) has put together wins over contenders Brendan Allen, Jared Cannonier and Roman Dolidze. The French fighter will look to get the biggest victory of his career and vault into title contention with an impressive showing. The 29-year-old striker weighed 185 pounds for his fourth UFC main event.
UFC Saudi Arabia will air on ESPN+ in its entirety on Saturday. Prelims begin at 9 a.m. ET/6 a.m. PT, while the main card kicks off at noon ET/9 a.m. PT.
