Undefeated prospect Sergio Pettis will make his UFC debut next month against Vaughan Lee.

Pettis, the younger brother of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis, will face Lee in a bantamweight showdown at UFC 167. Promotion officials announced the booking Tuesday after an initial report from Brazilian outlet Globo.

Headlined by a welterweight title bout between Georges St. Pierre and Johny Hendricks, UFC 167 takes place Nov. 16 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Just 20 years old, Pettis has emerged as a popular flyweight prospect in recent years, though “The Phenom” will make his Octagon debut at 135 pounds. Unbeaten in nine pro outings, Pettis last competed on Sept. 28, submitting James Porter with a first-round kimura under the North American Fighting Championship banner.

Lee enters his clash with Pettis sporting an Octagon record of 2-3. Though the 30-year-old Englishman began 2013 with a unanimous decision victory over Motonobu Tezuka in February, he was most recently submitted by a Raphael Assuncao armbar this past June at UFC on Fuel TV 10.
