The first seven bouts of the card aired on ESPN2, while the five-fight main card was available on ESPN+. The preliminary card began at 10 a.m. ET/7 p.m. PT and concluded with a welterweight clash pitting Rostem Akman against Sergey Khandozhko. Perhaps the biggest attraction on the preliminary draw was a women’s bantamweight showdown between former Invicta champ Tonya Evinger and Lina Lansberg.

The numbers are low compared to what UFC prelims usually draw but are right in line with other cards that had early start times. UFC Fight Night 145, for example, began at 11 a.m. ET on a Saturday and drew 271,000 viewers to ESPN2, while UFC Fight Night 149 started at 10 a.m. ET and attracted 232,000 viewers to the same network.

UFC Fight Night 153 took place at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden and saw Anthony Smith submit Alexander Gustafsson with a rear-naked choke in the fourth round of the evening’s light heavyweight main event.
