FU%* ........... so this happened on Thursday morning. The fact that I'm so close to the fight and this shit happened just really pisses me off. I know my will is being tested, and I will push forward. My fight has definitely not been fought in the cage this last year, trust me when I say I will be better for it all....... but Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. That is all

Michelle Waterson is unlikely to compete at next month’s UFC Fight Night card in Hamburg, Germany, after suffering a broken finger.

The strawweight talent posted an X-ray of the injury to her Instagram account on Saturday. While Waterson did not say she had officially withdrawn from the Sept. 3 event, her caption seemed to indicate that would be the case. “The Karate Hottie” had been awaiting a new opponent after original foe Aisling Daly pulled out of the contest with an injury of her own.

“So this happened on Thursday morning,” Waterson wrote. “The fact that I’m so close to the fight and this s—t happened just really pisses me off. I know my will is being tested, and I will push forward. My fight has definitely not been fought in the cage this last year, trust me when I say I will be better for it all.”

Waterson made her Octagon debut at “The Ultimate Fighter 21” finale, where she submitted Angela Magana with a rear-naked choke in the first round. Since then, a knee injury forced the former Invicta FC atomweight titlist to withdraw from a matchup with Tecia Torres at UFC 194, and a broken hand suffered in training further delayed her return.

UFC Fight Night takes place at Barclaycard Arena and is headlined by a heavyweight showdown between Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.
