UFC 'TUF 11' Finale Results & Live Play-by-Play

Sherdog.com will report from the The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas at 6:45 p.m. ET with play-by-play and live results of the UFC's "The Ultimate Fighter 11" Finale, which is headlined by Court McGee vs. Kris McCray.

James McSweeney vs. Travis Browne
Round 1
Browne misses a right hand seconds into the fight. McSweeney delivers two hard front kicks. Browne clinches his for into the cage. They separate. McSweeney just misses a hard right cross. Hard leg by McSweeney. They circle with little aggression. Browne is bleeding from his nose two minutes in. McSweeney is tagged by a right hand and stumbles onto his back. Browne closes in and lands in half guard. He lands several meager hammer fists but the Brit is not bothered. McSweeney is cut on top of his head from a left elbow. Browne is mauling him and is trying a kimura. After a scramble in an effort to escape, Browne gets a full mount and begins raining down punches. McSweeney is in deep trouble. He can't escape and after a series of strikes, referee Kim Winslow stops it. The official time of the TKO is 4:32 of the first round.

James Hammortree vs. Chris Camozzi
Round 1
Hammortree starts things off with a hard right low kick. Camozzi counters with a low kick of his own. Another. Hammortree lands a decent right cross. Camozzi lands another low kick; Hammortree misses a counter right cross. Camozzi misses a takedown, but then follows it up with a clinch and presses his opponent into the fence. They separate after little action. Hammortree catches Camozzi's low kick and shoves him to the ground. From half guard, Camozzi scrambles back to his feet. They miss punches and clinch. Both men are a bit passive. Hammortree misses a right and is tagged by a left to the body/right to the head. They clinch violently until the bell. Very close round. 10-9 Hammortree.

Round 2
Hammortree misses a right cross and is clinched by Camozzi, who digs a hard knee to the body. Camozzi presses his opponent into the fence. Small cut opens under Hammortree's left eye. An errant thumb or finger rakes Hammortree's eye and the fight is paused. He's deemed fit to continue as no damage has been inflicted. Hammortree lands a decent right hand and Camozzi's nose is bloody. Camozzi clinches and lands several jumping knees, but they largely miss their targets. Hammortree separates and lands a loopy right hand behind the ear. Camozzi, woozy, misses a takedown and in turn is tossed to the ground. They scramble up and are both very tired. Hammortree clinches and presses Camozzi into the cage. Camozzi reverses and lands a knee to the head. Hammortree looks hurt but he holds on. Another very close round. 10-9 Camozzi.

Round 3
Both men are exhausted starting the round. Left jab by Hammortree. Stiff straight right hand by Hammortree. They exchange and Camozzi lands an errant kick to the groin. He's warned by referee Josh Rosenthal. Camozzi shoots in for a single leg, but Hammortree sprawls. They again clinch and grapple against the cage. Very little action two minutes in. They separate. Camozzi lands a meager left hand. They circle with little offense. Camozz lands a leg kick. Another but they are weak. Camozzi clinches and forces his foe into the cage. Hammortree reverses and backs away. Camozzi just misses a head kick and forces Hammortree into the cage. Hammortree latches on a standing guillotine. It looks pretty deep. He drops and wraps it up. It's deep but time runs out. Very close round. 10-9 Camozzi.

Official scores: 29-28, 30-27 (twice) for Camozzi, the winner by unanimous decision.

Kyle Noke vs. Josh Bryant
Round 1
Noke misses a double left hook right away. They circle cautiously and size each other up. Noke lands a right leg kick 90 seconds in, the first strike that lands. Left jab/hard right leg kick by Noke. Bryant is tagged by a right hand after he missed a left hook and looks stunned. Bryant misses a wild left hook, but Noke doesn't capitalize. Noke is moving nicely and his angles and speed are giving Bryant problems. Hard inside leg kick by Noke. Bryant is tagged by two more sizzling leg kicks as he misses a sloppy right hook. Another stinging leg kick by Noke. Another. It's all Noke. 10-9 Noke.

Round 2
Noke lands another low kick right away but Bryant counters with the same kick. Noke cracks his foe with a right hand and Bryant stumbles back. Noke crushes Bryant with a left kick to the body. Noke lands another leg kick. Another. Noke is too slick for Bryant and delivers a right hand to the face. Noke cracks a brutal kick to the thigh and Bryant staggers into the cage. He tries to shoot in but he's stuffed. Noke separates and swarms. Another leg kick followed by a right hand. Bryant covers up and is swarmed against the cage. He drops down and turtles. Noke unloads and Winslow stops it. Official time of the TKO is 3:12 of the second.

Brad Tavares vs. Seth Baczynski
Round 1
Baczynski lands three meager low kicks immediately and then shoots in for a single. Tavares stuffs him tosses him to the canvas via whizzer. They scramble up. Baczynski shoots in again but again is stuffed. They clinch against the cage. Baczynski pulls guard and locks on a triangle. It's pretty deep but Tavares defends well. Baczynski switches to an armbar but Tavares pulls out. They scamble and Tavares takes his back. Baczynski turtles and Tavares slips in one hook. Tavares rolls his foe over and tries a rear naked, but Baczynski defends. Tavares locks on a body triangle. Baczynski is bleeding near his nose. Tavares can't secure the choke. Very good opening round. 10-9 Baczynski.

Round 2
They swing wildly right away. Tavares lands a glancing left hook. They continue to swing. Tavares slams Baczynski hard and lands in side control. Baczynski is able to slither his way into full guard. Baczynski misses an omoplata and Tavares scrambles up and then back down into half guard. Tavares scrambles out and dishes out a hard right hand. Baczynski rolls out of harm's way but Tavares seizes his back. Tavares locks on a kimura but Baczynski shakes it off and rolls into full guard. Tavares moves into Baczynski's half guard and traps him into the cage. With his free leg, Tavares traps the left arm of Baczynski and lands a series of punches near the end of the round. 10-9 Tavares.

Round 3
They exchange punches and kicks seconds into the final round. Baczynski tries a double leg but is stuffed. Tavares tries to take him down, but is also stuffed. Finally, Tavares sweeps the leg and lands in Baczynski's full guard. Baczynski finally wraps up a deep triangle. Tavares is in deep peril but violently tries to escape. He can't slam him and instead drops to his side. Tavares stands up again and finally breaks out of the choke. They scramble and Tavares takes his back and locks on a rear-naked choke. Baczynski defends and escapes. Tavares regroups and pulls guard. Neither man can close the show. 10-9 Baczynski.

Official scores: 29-28 across the board for the winner by unanimous decision, Brad Tavares.

John Gunderson vs. Mark Holst
Round 1
Holst misses a wild head kick early. Gunderson tries a double leg but is stuffed. Gunderson scoops Holst up and slams him down hard and lands in side control. Holst moves over and pulls to full guard. Holst tries to wrap up a triangle but misses. Holst expertly prevents the guard pass. Finally Gunderson scoots over and passes to side control. Holst quickly sucks Gunderson into full guard again. Not a whole lot of action with a minute left. Holst tries another triangle from butterfly guard but he's defended. 10-9 Gunderson.

Round 2
Gunderson quickly shoots in and lands the double leg. Holst pulls guard. Gunderson eventually moves to half guard but is quickly sucked back into full. Very little action 90 seconds in. The crowd is sparsely begging Rosenthal to stand them up midway through. Gunderson's sub defense is totally neutralizing Holst's sub attempts. Rosenthal stands them up with 95 seconds left. They exchange on their feet and Gunderson slips down and onto his back. Holst dives onto him and quickly tries an arm triangle but he misses it. they scramble to their feet. Gunderson takes him down again and the round ends with him in Holst's guard. 10-9 Gunderson.

Round 3
Gunderson throws a right/left combo but misses. He misses another and then ties Holst up against the cage. They separate. Gunderson lands a right/left but it's not hard. They clinch and Holst latches on a standing guillotine. He drops to guard but Gunderson slips out of the choke on the way down. They posture and Gunderson falls into a kimura. "Guns" defends it well. 80 seconds later Holst finally lets it go. He tries again. Gunderson slowly scoots his opponent into the cage. Very dull final round. With a minute left, Holst needs a sub to win. Holst rolls over and snags Gunderson's right arm. Holst can't stretch it out and can't pull off the armbar at the horn. 10-9 Gunderson.

Official scores: All three judges see it for Gunderson. No scores are announced.

Jamie Yager vs. Rich Attonito
Round 1
Yager bullies Attonito around early with kicks and punches, but nothing lands flush. Attonito drops levels and works a single against the fencing. Attonito drags his opponent to the canvas and Yager elbows the head from the bottom to create enough space to stand. Yager has control of the center of the Octagon as he stalks his prey. A low kick connects for Yager. Attonito lands a nice counter-right hand and Yager answers with a left, right combo. 1:40 remains in the frame and Attonito lands a left hook. Yager has a low kick caught and Attonito lands a hard right-hand counter. Yager stumbles off balanced and Attonito attempts a takedown that is stuffed. Yager lands a right hand and is hit by a counter punch. Sherdog.com sees the close round 10-9 Attonito.

Round 2
Yager lands a right hook and sets up another with a left hand. Attonito lowers his head and lunges in with a right hand that misses by a wide margin. Attonito is hit by a short right hand. Light on his feet and moving well, Yager lands a clean right uppercut. Attonito scores with a left hook. Attonito backs Yager up against the fence and connects with a solid right hand. Yager is suddenly on the retreat. Yager’s speed has decreased from fatigue and Attonito is starting to time his awkward strikes. Attonito lands a straight right on the chin and stuffs a desperate shot. Attonito transitions directly to Yager’s back and starts to work for a rear-naked choke with both hooks. Yager gets to his knees and Attonito gets his hooks back in and flattens him out. Attonito uses his right hand exclusively to pound Yager’s head until referee Steve Mazzagatti pulls him off at the 4:25 mark of round two.

Spencer Fisher vs. Dennis Siver
Round 1
Siver takes a kick directly on his groin protector. Referee Kim Winslow gives Siver a brief reprieve and we’re back on. Siver backs Fisher up with a front kick. Fisher clinches up and Siver rockets a right hand that grazes the head. Siver, bleeding from a cut above his right eye, lands a left-hook lead. Blood is starting to trickle down the face, but it doesn’t seem to be streaming into the eye as Siver hasn’t wiped it with his glove. Siver lands another front kick and Fisher connects with a kick to the body. Siver is using a short left kick as a jab to set up his right hand. The fighters clash heads in an exchange, but neither man seems hurt. Siver throws a spinning-back kick that is partially deflected. Despite bleeding profusely from what replays show was a head clash earlier in the round, Siver takes the round on the Sherdog.com scorecard, 10-9.

Round 2
Fisher connects with a left-legged head kick early in round two. Siver bounces a hard low kick off the right leg of his opponent. Fisher tries to return the favor and Siver checks it. Fisher lands a body kick and a left hook. Siver’s cutman did a good job on the cut in between rounds. He’s hardly bleeding. Fisher lands another head kick and a right hand. Siver works both legs with low kicks. Fisher has a low kick caught and Siver knocks him to the floor with a right hook to the temple. Siver lets him up and goes right back to work on the legs with low kicks. Siver mixes it up well and lands a hard right body kick. Fisher rushes in to avoid kicking range but he can’t score with a punching flurry. Fisher’s corner asks for lateral movement and he responds by moving and landing a right-hand lead. A spinning-back fist by Fisher is blocked. Siver likes the tactic and lands a spinning-back kick before the horn sounds. 10-9 Siver.

Round 3
Fisher starts another round with a flush head kick. Siver throws a low kick and it hits Fisher in the groin. Winslow calls time and then restarts the fighters after just a few seconds. Siver is throwing front kicks and Fisher defends and connects with a right-hand counter. Siver steps forward in the pocket and clips his foe with a right hook. The fighters trade punches to the body and a head kick from Fisher is blocked. And another. Fisher switches it up and has a jumping knee blocked, too. Siver lands a left hook and gets hit by a right hand. Another right hand smacks Siver’s temple. Blood starts to drip from Siver’s first-round cut. Fisher lands two hard counter hooks to the body. Siver gets going with a low kick and a head kick that finds its target. A second head kick misses wildly. Fisher blocks a front kick and lands a spinning-back fist. Siver shoots a single at the horn and Fisher steps up and out of it. 10-9 Fisher (29-28 Siver).

Official scores: 30-27 and 29-28 (twice) for Dennis Siver, the winner of a unanimous decision.

Chris Leben vs. Aaron Simpson
Round 1
Simpson backs Leben up to the cage with a punching flurry and then lifts him into the air and slams to the canvas. Leben gets to his feet and eats a knee before being stuck in a standing guillotine. Leben escapes and punches the body before being turned against the fence. Pushing his opponent into the cage, Simpson knees the thigh and fails on a single-leg takedown. Simpson scores with a right-hand lead and he’s back to work on that high single. Simpson throws Leben down and tees off with punches to the head from both hands. Leben eats some punishment, but he’s standing again. Leben lands a left hook on the temple that seems to briefly stun Simpson. Simpson gets the best of a punching exchange before going back to the clinch against the fence. Leben punches and kicks the right thigh with his back to the cage. Simpson reaches down for a single while kneeing the thigh. 10-9 Simpson.

Round 2
Leben stuffs a takedown and lands a kick to the body. Leben sprawls to defend another shot and he lights Simpson up with a right hand. Simpson presses Leben into the cage and Leben fights his way back to the center of the Octagon. Leben turns the contest into a slugfest and he gets to Simpson’s chin several times with both hands. Leben swings away and Simpson is fighting tentative. Leben kicks the front leg and Simpson is thwarted on a shot. Simpson is showing signs of fatigue as Leben bullies him with left hands. Leben scores on three low kicks and several punches. Simpson stumbles to all four and Leben pours it on. Simpson runs across the cage and falls. Referee Josh Rosenthal steps in to save the dazed fighter, giving Leben the TKO win at 4:17 of the second frame.

Matt Hamill vs. Keith Jardine
Round 1
Jardine lands a hard counter right as Hamill closes the distance. Hamill rushes in to clinch and Jardine circles away. Jardine keeps Hamill at bay with his jab and straight right. Both fighters land a low kick. Jardine lands two consecutive low kicks. Hamill looks frustrated and Jardine starts to bang away with his hands and low kicks on a frequent basis. The pace slows a bit until Jardine lands a left kick to the body. Hamill steps forward and Jardine connects with a right hand. Jardine lands another right hand. Jardine scores with another right hand a low kick before the bell. 10-9 Jardine.

Round 2
Hamill’s corner instructs him to take Jardine down. He attempts to do so in the round’s first 30 seconds, but Jardine easily defends it. Hamill tries to box with Jardine and he gets pelted with three low kicks. Hamill attempts to kick the head and Jardine checks it. Hamill catches a low kick, but he can’t drag Jardine down. The Greg Jackson product is picking Hamill apart. Hamill jabs and finds some success with a right hand. Jardine goes right back to the legs with low kicks. Hamill charges forward and glances the face of Jardine, who’s now bleeding from a cut near the left eye. Hamill lands a head kick and the momentum has changed. Hamill with uppercuts from the clinch and then he goes down. Hamill covers his face and complains of an eye poke. Replays show a thumb accidentally connect with the right eye. Herb Dean takes a point regardless. The fight is restarted and Jardine bulrushes with punches and Hamill gets the best of an exchange before getting a takedown. Jardine stands and Hamill pours it on with punches from the clinch. Jardine is now cut over his right eye. Jardine is a bloody mess. 10-8 Hamill (with point deduction).

Round 3
Jardine is sporting a nasty gash between his eyes. Hamill smells blood and charges right at him to land an uppercut. Hamill lands another uppcercut, this time from the outside. Jardine is circling while throwing a jab. Jardine’s right hand is eye as he pumps his left. Hamill shoots in and takes his opponent down with a single. Hamill hops on his back from behind with a single hook. Blood is absolutely pouring from the face of Jardine. Referee Dean calls time to have the cut checked. A doctor wipes it off and tells him the bout can continue. The fight is restarted and Jardine connects with a solid right hand that was set up by a left uppercut. Hamill lands a low kick and Jardine’s face continues to pour. Hamill shoots and blasts Jardine with a knee to the chin as he recovers from a sprawl. Hamill gets the best of the boxing in the final minute, though Jardine made it close with a few low kicks that find a home. 10-9 Hamill (29-27 Hamill.)

Official scores: 29-27 (twice) and 28-28 for the winner by majority decision, Matt Hamill.

Court McGee vs. Kris McCray
Round 1
McCray kicks the body and McGee ties him up around the waist. McGee trips his opponent to the canvas and begins to work from the guard. McGee moves the fight against the fence and McCray uses the cage against his back to stand. McGee immediately trips him back to the floor. Elevator sweep from the bottom fails and McCray eats a right hand. McGee passes to half guard, where he lands a short elbow and a hard left hand. McCray gets distance to stand and he’s back up. McGee lands a knee to the body and moves McCray to the fence. Outside trip from McGee and the fight is back on the floor. McGee gets to half guard and then briefly in the mount. McCray bucks and gets up. Right hands to the body land for McCray. 10-9 McGee.

Round 2
The fighters clinch and McCray lands to McGee’s body with a knee. McGee sneaks in a knee of his own and throws McCray to the floor. McGee quickly mounts his opponent and works for a head-and-arm choke. McCray escapes and punches the head from the bottom. McGee, in the dominant position, does little before landing four left hands to the ribs. McCray turns his back and McGee attempts to get hooks in. McCray fights out and up to his feet. Huge double-leg takedown for McGee. McCray is bleeding from a cut above his left eye. McGee works a rear naked choke with a single hook and he’s got tight positioning secured. McGee gets his other leg involved and McCray is trapped. He taps. McGee is the season 11 “Ultimate Fighter.” The official time is 3:41 of round two.
