Saturday's UFC pay-per-view card in Las Vegas has lost a fight, as less than 24 hours before action commenced at the Mandalay Bay light
heavyweight Mike Nickels has withdrawn due to a bad back, according to UFC.com.
Scheduled to face promising 205-pound fighter Keith Jardine (Pictures), Nickels appeared healthy at Friday's weigh-in, stepping off the scale at the
division's limit. Nickels' departure leaves Jardine without an opponent and UFC 64 eight instead of nine scheduled bouts.
