Four-time Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Cody Pfister will lock horns with Jonathan Gary on the Bellator 174 preliminary draw.

A promotion official confirmed the matchup to Sherdog.com on Thursday. Bellator 174 takes place at Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Okla., on March 3 and is headlined by a women’s featherweight championship clash between Marloes Coenen and Julia Budd. The evening’s main card airs on Spike TV, while the prelims stream on Bellator.com and the Bellator Mobile App.

Pfister went 1-3 during his tenure with the UFC and is probably best known for falling to Sage Northcutt via second-round submission at UFC Fight Night 80 in December 2015. The 26-year-old Amarillo, Texas, native is 12-6-1 as a professional overall, with seven victories coming inside the distance.

Gary, meanwhile, last appeared at Bellator 167 on Dec. 3, when he earned a unanimous verdict against Aaron Roberson. The 31-year-old Oklahoma City native is 12-7-2 as a pro, including 10 triumphs by knockout, technical knockout or submission.
