UFC Veteran Shawn Jordan to Face Heavyweight Champ Blagoy Ivanov at WSOF 35
Next month, the World Series of Fighting heavyweight title will be on the line.

The Ivanov-Jordan bout is set to take place on Feb. 25, at a date and city yet to be named, as part of WSOF 35.
The 32-year-old Jordan exited the UFC after losing a single bout to Ruslan Magomedov in October of last year. After compiling a 7-4 mark inside the Octagon, the former Louisiania State University tailback made the move to World Series of Fighting and after a rote showcase fight against Ashley Gooch -- which Jordan won via knockout in the first round ? earned himself a title shot against the promotion's incumbent champ.
Since entering the WSOF ranks, the world sambo champion Ivanov, 30, has won three in a row, holding one-sided victories over Smealinho Rama, Derrick Mehmen and Josh Copeland in order to earn the promotional crown.
