The Australian veteran announced his retirement via Twitter on Saturday night following a unanimous decision loss to Omari Akhmedov at UFC Fight Night 101 in Melbourne. It was Noke’s third straight defeat in the Octagon, the longest losing streak of his fighting tenure.

“Thank you to the UFC and all the fans. It’s time to hang up the gloves,” Noke wrote. “I’ve had a blessed life doing what I love. I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Noke exits the sport with a 22-10-1 mark compiled over the course of a career that began in 2002. The 36-year-old appeared on Season 11 of “The Ultimate Fighter” and went 6-6 during his stint in the Las Vegas-based promotion.
