Gian Villante is among three fighters from UFC on ESPN 12 who could be sidelined for a significant period of time.

Villante, who fell victim to an arm-triangle choke in Round 3 of a heavyweight clash with Maurice Greene, is out for 180 days unless a left hand x-ray is cleared by a doctor. At a minimum, Villante is suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days. Greene, meanwhile, is suspended 45 days with no contact for 30 days due to a left cheek laceration.

Elsewhere, middleweight prospect Brendan Allen is suspended 180 days or until left orbital, nasal and sinus fractures are cleared by a doctor. Allen’s manager recently revealed that he doesn’t expect the fighter to compete in the UFC again until 2021. Allen defeated Kyle Daukaus via unanimous decision in a featured 185-pound contest. Daukaus is suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days due to an eyebrow laceration.

Khama Worthy, who tapped out Luis Pena with a third-round guillotine choke at lightweight, is suspended 180 days unless a right ankle x-ray and left knee MRI are cleared by a doctor. Pena was suspended for 30 days with no contact for 21 days.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission released a full list of medical suspensions from the event on Monday. UFC on ESPN 12 took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and saw Dustin Poirier take a hard-fought five-round verdict over Dan Hooker in the evening’s lightweight main event. Both Poirier and Hooker were suspended 60 days with no contact for 45 days due to a tough fight.
