Earlier on the main card, Taila Santos captured a decision over Molly McCann, and may have injured her foot in the process. She has been issued a 180-day suspension that can be cleared by an X-Ray as well, and like Benoit, she has a minimum 21-day suspension with no contact even if given the go-ahead by medical professionals.
On the preliminary portion of the event, Modestas
Bukauskas won his debut by knockout at the end of the first
round, but he may be facing a lengthy suspension of his own. He
will need to cleared by a left knee MRI in order to come back
sooner than six months, with his own 21-day no contact order.
Finally, Diana
Belbita received a 180-day suspension that can be lifted if she
is cleared from an MRI to her right elbow. Like those mentioned
before her, she will sit out a minimum of three weeks with no
contact.
