UFC on ESPN 18 Medical Suspensions: Seven Fighters Facing Possible 180-Day Layoffs

UFC on ESPN 18 took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday
and saw Anthony
Smith score a first-round submission victory against Devin Clark
in the evening’s light heavyweight headliner. Both Smith and Clark
emerged with a clean bill of health following their bout.
Six other fighters from UFC on ESPN 18 are also looking at 180-day sits: Parker Porter (left hand), Bill Algeo (left hand), Norma Dumont (right hand), Ashlee Evans-Smith (left hand), Jonathan Pearce (right foot) and Rachael Ostovich (right hand).

Takashi Sato: Must have left orbital fracture cleared by OMF or ENT doctor, or a plastic surgeon, or no contest until May 28; minimum suspension no contest until Jan. 13, no contact until Dec. 29
Parker Porter: Must have left hand X-rayed and cleared by doctor or no contest until May 28; minimum suspension no contest until Dec. 29, no contact until Dec. 20
Josh Parisian: Suspended until Jan. 28, no contact until Jan. 13
Bill Algeo: Must have left hand X-rayed and cleared by doctor or no contest until May 28; minimum suspension no contact until Dec. 11
Spike Carlyle: Suspended until Dec, 29, no contact until Dec. 20
Norma Dumont: Must have right hand X-rayed and cleared by doctor or no contest until May 28; minimum suspension no contact until Dec. 11
