Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to ESPN airwaves on Saturday with another evening of mixed martial arts action with former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz taking on contender Aleksandar Rakic.

This is the first fight for Blachowicz (28-9) since dropping his light heavyweight title in a shocking upset against Glover Teixeira. Prior to the setback, the Polish fighter had picked up a dominant decision over Israel Adesanya and knocked out Dominick Reyes. The 39-year-old will look to show he still has more left in the tank here and came in at 205.5 pounds for his latest UFC main event.
This marks the second UFC main event for Rakic (14-2), who previously beat Anthony Smith by decision. The Austrian would follow up that performance with a victory over former title challenger Thiago Santos and is now poised for a title shot with one more victory. The only blemish inside the Octagon for "Rocket" is a split decision defeat to Volkan Oezdemir in 2019. Rakic stepped on the scale at 205 pounds on the dot.
UFC on ESPN 36's prelims will begin on ESPN and ESPN+ at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT. The main card will then air on ESPN2 and ESPN+ at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
