UFC on ESPN 56 Medical Suspensions: Rebecki, McKinney Get 90 Days

Mateusz Rebecki and Terrance McKinney received the longest potential medical suspensions out of all fighters who competed at UFC on ESPN 56.

Both Rebecki and McKinney have been suspended 90 days and need neurological exam clearance before they can return to active competition. The Missouri Office of Athletics released a full list of medical suspensions from the event on Monday.

Rebecki absorbed a hellacious beating at the hands of Diego Ferreira in a featured lightweight bout, while McKinney suffered a head-kick knockout at the hands of Esteban Ribovics in a preliminary 155-pound clash.

UFC on ESPN 56 took place at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis and saw Derrick Lewis defeat Rodrigo Nascimento via third-round TKO in the evening’s heavyweight headliner. Nascimento has been suspended for 30 days, while Lewis emerged from the event with a clean bill of health.

Nursulton Ruziboev: Suspended 60 days

Alonzo Menifield: Suspended 60 days

Mateusz Rebecki: Suspended 90 days. Needs neurological exam clearance

Viacheslav Borshchev: Suspended 60 days

Terrance McKinney: Suspended 90 days. Needs neurological exam clearance

Trey Waters: Suspended 30 days
