UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw, Edson Barboza, Paul Felder and Tom Lawlor each pocketed an extra $50,000 in bonus money at Saturday’s UFC on Fox 16.

UFC President Dana White announced the bonuses during the post-fight press conference at United Center in Chicago, adding that he would “take care of” Ben Saunders and Kenny Robertson with unofficial bonuses for their three-round welterweight scrap. According to White, the event drew a crowd of 11,663 spectators for a live gate of $1.2 million.

Dillashaw earned one of two “Performance of the Night” awards for his blistering performance against former champ Renan Barao. The Team Alpha Male fighter went toe-to-toe with Barao from the opening bell, gradually overwhelming the Brazilian with clean, powerful strikes before forcing a stoppage 35 seconds into the fourth round.

Lightweight strikers Barboza and Felder shared “Fight of the Night” honors after spending three rounds on the feet. Felder scored with punches in the opening frame, but Barboza connected with hard leg kicks throughout the contest and took control down the stretch with superior speed. Barboza earned the unanimous decision victory with scores of 29-28 across the board.

The evening’s other “Performance of the Night” bonus went to Lawlor, who moved up from middleweight to light heavyweight for his first UFC appearance in more than two years. Endangered during the first stanza, Lawlor caught Gian Villante with a counter left hook that put the New Yorker down for the count 27 seconds into round two.
