In the main event of UFC on Fox 22, Michelle Waterson put Paige VanZant to sleep with a textbook rear-naked choke in the opening frame.

Waterson was in control of the action on the feet as she cracked the “Dancing with the Stars” runner-up with punches to the head and then closed the fight out after tossing “12 Gauge” to the canvas. From there, “The Karate Hottie” locked in a body triangle and locked in the choke, though VanZant battled the submission for about a minute. Finally, VanZant was able to break free and eventually was snoozing in Waterson’s arms. The official time of the technical submission came 3:21 into the fight.
