UFC to Hold Fight Night Event in Singapore on June 17

The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the event on Wednesday. The UFC Fight Night card will take place at Singapore Indoor Stadium. No bouts have been announced for the event.
“We are very excited to kick off our 2017 Asia event calendar with UFC Fight Night Singapore,” UFC Senior Vice President of International Business, Joe Carr, said. “Singapore is the home of our Asia headquarters and as such has always been a key market in our strategy to grow the UFC brand and the sport of MMA in the ASEAN region.”
The promotion first journeyed to Singapore on Jan. 4, 2014 for UFC Fight Night 34 at Marina Bay Sands. In the main event of that card, Tarec Saffiedine took a five-round decision over Hyun Gyu Lim.
