Trevor Prangley (Pictures) vs. Chael Sonnen (Pictures)

R1
Sonnen scored takedowns and worked inside the guard. Prangley is bloodied up by Sonnen's elbows inside the guard. The South African is cut on the bridge of his nose and above his left eye.

R2
More of the same in round two. Sonnen worked from side-control and Prangley scored with an upkick. Sonnen moved back into the guard and controlled Prangley until there were 30 seconds left in the round. The AKA middleweight stuffed a takedown and put Sonnen on his back for the first time in the fight. Sonnen appears to have won the first two rounds.

R3
Chael worked from the top for the first 3 1/2 minutes. Prangley tried to put a Kimura on the Oregon wrestler, but Sonnen yanked his arm out of danger. Referee Steve Mazzagatti stood the fighters up with 40 seconds left but neither did anything on the feet to close out contest. In what was a rather lackluster bout, Sonnen did what he needed to do to shutout Prangley on the scorecards, 30-27 three times. Sherdog.com had the same score.

Josh Koscheck (Pictures) vs. Ansar Chalangov

R1
Neither Koscheck nor Chalangov landed a strike of substance during their short bout. Koscheck shot a takedown after a couple flailing exchanges and was almost guillotined except he had an arm inside the choke. After a scramble, Koscheck got the Russian's back and, with only one hook in, secured the rear-naked choke to win by tapout 3:29 of round one.

Dan Christison (Pictures) vs Brad Imes (Pictures)

R1
Christison threw nice combos to open the fight. The first 40 seconds both heavyweights dropped bombs. Around 1:45 into the fight Imes landed a massive knee to the groin. After taking several minutes to recover, Christison restarted action throwing bombs. A left to the jaw and a right to the shoulder dropped Imes to the canvas. Imes recovered and went for a leglock and Christison rolled. Imes ended the round on top.

R2
Round two opened with both men throwing heavy leather. A minute and a half into the period they appeared to tire. Referee John McCarthy separated the fighters after Christison pawed at his right eye. The ringside doctor looked at his eye and allowed the fight to continue. But he keeps pawing at it as the round progresses. With 1:05 left in the round the heavyweights look exhausted. Neither appears to have much left. Another knee to the groin by Imes was missed by McCarthy and in the final 30 seconds the two tossing sloppy haymakers at each other. Christison is bloody around his right eye, while Imes is bleeding from under his left eye and is sporting a noticeable mouse.

The final round begins with an Imes' takedown. Twice Christison went for armbars to the wrong side. He's active from his back, however. Now Christison reverses position and is standing over Imes, who's prone on his back. The two meet again as Christison dives in, but Imes shucks him off and they return to the feet. After a scramble Imes nestled back into Christison's guard. From the bottom Imes get caught in an armbar. After some struggling the New Mexico-based heavyweight straightens the arm. He cranks on it until Imes is forced to tap. Big win for the late-replacement Christison.

Jon Fitch (Pictures) vs Josh Burkman (Pictures)

R1
Opening minute the two clinched along the fence. Mazzagatti separated the two and Fitch counters with a right to the body and a left to the jaw. Fitch pounced and they scrambled along the fence. Burkman recovered well but Fitch landed a single-leg takedown and controlled the remainder of the period.

R2
Fitch took Burkman down and pounded on him from the guard to start round two. Burkman worked his way back up to the feet but Fitch landed a right kick to the body and a straight left before tossing his opponent to the floor. Fitch got his back after a scramble and the AKA-trained wrestler finished the fight there.

Jason von Flue (Pictures) vs. Luke Cummo

R1
First two minute was spent along the cage. Cummo used a nifty foot sweep to put Von Flue in the 1/2 guard. A left elbow opened a huge gash in the middle of Von Flue's forehead. Doctors checked it w/40 seconds left and they allowed him to continue. The cut is bad and could impact Von Flue the rest of the fight.

R2
In round two, Von Flue scored the first salvo, landing a takedown at the 3:45 mark. Passing to side-control, Von Flue went for the same choke he finished Alex Karalexis with. But Cummo slipped out. With two minutes left Cummo stuffs a takedown and gets bodylock control from behind. The two have rolled on the mat for over a minute. Luke tries to find a choke, but he can't find it. The New Yorker has punished Von Flue through two rounds and just won a dominant round. The cut on Von Flue runs from his hairline to forehead and is about an inch and a half long.

R3
Third round saw Luke keep Von Flue away with low kicks and crisp combinations. Each time they clinch Luke prevented the takedown. The five-minute period fought solely on the feet. After five more minutes the fighters are covered in Von Flue's blood. After three rounds Cummo scored a unanimous decision victory.

Chris Leben (Pictures) vs. Luigi Fioravanti

R1
Leben starts round one with heavy leather and some knees to the body. Fioravanti nearly scores a single leg takedown but the Team Quest fighter defends nicely. The Oregon middleweight works the clinch and dirty boxing throughout the first round.

Round two starts with a trip takedown from Leben into his opponent's half-guard. Orlando's Fioravanti escapes to his feet only to be tripped again. "The Crippler" now working from side-mount. Both fighters now standing with Luigi holding the cage to avoid a takedown. McCarthy issues a warning. After a takedown, the bright red haired Leben punishes Fioravanti with elbows from half-guard.

After touching gloves, Leben starts with a straight left to kickoff the third period. "The Crippler" shoots in but Luigi defends and counters with a knee as his opponent scrambles to his feet. Both fighters starting to tire. Leben now working Fioravanti's body against the fence. "Big John" forces a restart with one minute remaining. Round three ends with Leben working some ground and pound in his opponent's closed-guard. Lackluster but one-sided performance for the Team Quest fighter.

Josh Neer (Pictures) vs. Joe Stevenson (Pictures)

R1
Neer lands a few punches to start round one. Stevenson drops to his back and rolls into a kneebar. Neer is in trouble, the hold is very tight. The TUF veteran lets go of the knee and attacks the heel. The Iowa fighter escapes the submission and works from Stevenson's guard. Joe "Daddy" looking for an omaplata but quickly falls back to guard. Knee to Neer's groin goes unnoticed by referee Herb Dean. After a slip by Stevenson, Neer pounds away with heavy elbows. Round one ends with Joe sitting in Neer's closed guard.

The second period starts with a Neer takedown, but both fighters quickly rise and clinch against the cage. Right hand lead lands for the TUF winner. After some sloppy striking, Stevenson slips while throwing a knee and finds himself on his back again. The pace is starting to slow as both athletes show fatigue. Neer working for a can opener from his opponent's open-guard. Neer finishes round three with a heavy elbow that glances.

Huge knee from Neer drops Stevenson as round three begins. Neer calls "Daddy" back to his feet. Neer now picking his chunkier opponent apart with rights and lefts. A very tired Stevenson pulls guard. A few elbows from Neer opens up a big cut above Stevenson's right eye. The TUF champ scores a gutsy takedown at the 3-min. mark. Perhaps feeling desperate, Joe now turning up the action with punches and elbows against the cage.

Sam Hoger (Pictures) vs. Rashad Evans (Pictures)

R1
Round one starts with a takedown from Evans into Hoger's closed-guard. Referee Mario Yamasaki restarts the action after 30 seconds. Rashad charges in and lands several punches before clinching against the fence. Nice jab followed by a right hand lands cleanly for the TUF champion. Hard body shot forces Hoger to cringe and back pedal. Right hand from Sam ejects Rashad's mouthguard to the canvas. Round one ends with both fighters trading punches.

The second period starts with a fast takedown by Evans. Quick restart from Yamasaki follows. Awesome exchange of punches with both fighters connecting. Evans working against the fence, showing more attention to wrist control than striking. With 30 seconds remaining, Rashad scores a takedown. Just before the bell, Hoger nearly forces a tap from a deep Kimura.

The third stanza starts with a headkick from Sam, but Rashad answers with a takedown. Sam looks for another Kimura then transitions to a heelhook. Both fighters now back to standing. A relentless Evans scores his second takedown of the round. Mario Yamasaki stops the action to repair dangling tape from Hoger's gloves. Quick scramble from both athletes sees a triangle attempt from Sam and a quick reversal as Rashad secures another takedown as the fight ends.

Stephan Bonnar (Pictures) vs Keith Jardine (Pictures)

R1
Bonnar starts round one with a spinning back kick that misses its mark. After a brief clinch against the cage, Stephan lands some straight punches but Jardine ties up with the TUF finalist showing no damage. Jardine, who is fighting with his left hand at his waist, is starting to find his range with punches and low kicks.

Another hard kick to Bonnar's leg starts round 2. A hard punch from Bonnar followed by a brief scramble finds Stephan on Jardine's back with a rear naked choke but he quickly rolled and raised to his feet. Hard, loud-cracking leg kick smashes into Bonnar's thigh yet again. Jardine clearly in harge with one minute left in the round. The second period ends with a glancing kick to Bonnar's body.

Stephan showing some urgency as round three begins, as he throws a short flurry of punches followed by a kick that nearly connects. Jardine answers with a kick directly on the welt that has formed on Bonnar's left leg. Bonnar connects with a left hook that sends Jardine to the mat. Stephan tries to capitilize but Jardine quickly rises to his feet then grabs the fence to avoid being placed on his back again. Now clear-headed, Keith lunges in with an overhead right. Bonnar now bleeding over his left eye. Amazing right high kick rocks Stephan as he cocks back to throw a punch.
