Aguilar claimed the inaugural LFA belt with a third-round knockout of Jackson in February 2017, and he defended his crown with a five-round verdict over Justin Rader at LFA 18 last August. A competitor on Season 22 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” Le claimed interim featherweight gold with a second-round TKO of Bobby Moffett at LFA 31 on Jan. 19.
Meanwhile, LFA 41 will be topped by a lightweight showdown between former Resurrection Fighting Alliance champion Thiago Moises and Jeff Peterson. LFA 41 takes place at the Mystic Lake Center in Prior Lake, Minn., on June 1 and airs on AXS-TV at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
Moises saw a four-fight winning streak come to an end at LFA 17, where he lost a five-round verdict to Robert Watley for the promotion’s inaugural 155-pound title. Peterson owns a five-bout winning streak that includes a trio of triumphs under the LFA banner.
