The 36-year-old Magny is coming off a split-decision triumph against Philip Rowe at UFC on ABC 5 on June 24. UFC 292 takes place at the TD Garden in Boston and is headlined by a bantamweight championship tilt pitting Aljamain Sterling against Sean O'Malley. Neal joins a list of notable athletes that have withdrawn from the event for various reasons including Henry Cejudo, Rob Font, Yadong Song.
The 32-year-old Neal had a two-bout winning streak snapped in his last outing, when he suffered a third-round submission defeat to Shavkat Rakhmonov at UFC 285 on March 4.
