The 36-year-old Pichel (11-2) is coming off of a yearlong layoff, and will take on an undefeated prospect in Roosevelt Roberts (8-0) at UFC on ESPN 3 in Minneapolis. There, the veteran plans on handing the 25-year-old his first loss.

"I see me winning the fight. I'm going to starch this kid," Pichel told Sherdog.com. "I'm not going to talk sh*t about him but I am going to beat this kid's ass. Let him know he got the short straw. I have given three or four people their first loss and he will be added to that list."

However, something that could hinder Pichel in this fight is the fact that he hasn't fought in a year. But, "From Hell" doesn't believe that will play any factor as he has returned from lengthy layoffs before to have success.

"Ring rust is bullsh*t. Ring rust is for people who aren't real fighters," he explained. "I'm ready to fight, I'm training and ring rust is bullsh*t and is a mental thing. I was out for a while and then came back and knocked out Damien Brown."

Against Roberts, Pichel doesn't know where "The Predator" has an advantage. He believes some may think it is the ground game, and he is encouraging Roberts to try.

"I'm not worried about, I'm a brown belt, too. I'm actually a really good grappler, which is overlooked at because of my last fight," he said. "If he thinks he can dominate me on the ground, he has another thing coming."

In the end, Pichel is eager to get back into the Octagon and get his hand raised again. After all the injuries, the 36-year-old is just wanting to fight and fight often, and it starts on Saturday at UFC Minneapolis.
