The World Series of Fighting 18 main event will move forward as planned, as both Marlon Moraes and Josh Hill made weight ahead of their bantamweight championship clash.

Moraes checked in at exactly 135 pounds, while Hill tipped the scales at 134.8 at Wednesday’s weigh-ins. WSOF 18 takes place at the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Thursday night. The evening’s main card airs on the NBC Sports Network beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

Moraes is 6-0 under the WSOF banner and will be making his first official title defense with the promotion. His last victory, a second-round submission over Cody Bollinger at WSOF 13, was changed to a non-title, catch-weight affair when Bollinger failed to make weight. The 26-year-old Ricardo Almeida Jiu-Jitsu standout captured the 135-pound strap with a five-round verdict over Josh Rettinghouse at WSOF 9.

Hill, meanwhile, is unbeaten in 10 professional appearances, including a first-round knockout of Mike Adams at WSOF Canada 2 this past June. Six of “Gentleman’s” victories have gone to the judges’ scorecards.
