Former World Series of Fighting title challenger Josh Hill is one of three new additions to the Bellator MMA roster.
In addition to Hill, the California-based promotion has also signed Bulgarian featherweight Georgi Valentinov and Ukrainian featherweight Vladislav Parubchenko. MMAjunkie.com was first to report the new signings.
Hill, 32, twice challenged for bantamweight gold under the WSOF banner, losing a five-round verdict to then champion Marlon Moraes in February 2015 and falling to Moraes via second-round TKO in a rematch in July 2016. “The Gentleman” owns an 18-3 career mark and enters his Bellator debut on a two-fight winning streak.
The 26-year-old Valentinov is 21-5 since beginning his professional tenure in 2010. The Bulgarian fighter has competed for a number of promotions, most notably Absolute Championship Akhmat, where he fell to current UFC talent Ismail Naurdiev. Valentinov has finished seven of his career triumphs and has gone the distance in victory on 14 occasions.
Parubchenko, who is also 26, brings a gaudy 16-1 mark into the California-based organization. The Combat Dombro representative has finished 12 of his 16 career triumphs by way of submission.
