A showdown between welterweight talents Warlley Alves and Kamaru Usman has been added to the UFC Fight Night 100 lineup.

Promotion officials announced the pairing on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night takes place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo and is headlined by a light heavyweight duel pitting Antonio Rogerio Nogueira against Ryan Bader.

The winner of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3,” Alves suffered his first loss in 11 pro outings when he dropped a unanimous verdict to Bryan Barberena at UFC 198. The 25-year-old Brazilian began his promotional tenure with wins over Marcio Alexandre Jr., Alan Jouban, Nordine Taleb and Colby Covington.

Usman, meanwhile, enters the matchup on a seven-fight winning streak, including triumphs in his first two Octagon appearances. Most recently, the Blackzilians representative garnered a unanimous decision over Alexander Yakovlev at UFC on Fox 20.
