Yaroslav Amosov-Mark Lemminger Clash Added to Bellator 244

Undefeated welterweight Yaroslav Amosov (23-0) has been added to this weekend’s Bellator 244 card, taking on once-beaten prospect Mark Lemminger. According to Amosov’s management team, Prime Fight Management, the fight was made after an attempt to book longtime contender Jon Fitch fell through due to injury.
The 26-year-old Ukrainian has made waves since his Bellator MMA debut two years ago, going 4-0 against solid opposition including Ed Ruth, David Rickels and Gerald Harris. Lemminger (11-1) won his own Bellator debut in in July, knocking out Jake Smith in the second round at Bellator 242.
Bellator 244 “Bader vs. Nemkov” takes place Friday, Aug. 21 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The 12-fight card is scheduled to be headlined by two-division champ Ryan Bader, who will be defending his light heavyweight title for the first time in over two years against Vadim Nemkov.
