Bellator Dublin takes place at 3Arena in the Irish capital and is also expected to include a lightweight clash between Benson Henderson and Peter Queally. The evening’s main card will air on Showtime.
Romero remained on the Bellator 280 card, where he earned a technical knockout victory against short-notice foe Alex Polizzi at the 4:59 mark of Round 3. That triumph snapped a four-bout skid for the former UFC middleweight title challenger, who hadn’t tasted victory since knocking out Luke Rockhold in February 2018.
The 45-year-old Manhoef had a two-bout winning streak snapped in his last outing, when he suffered a second-round TKO defeat to Corey Anderson at Bellator 251 in November 2020.
