Round 1
Benson scores a takedown after a brief feeling out period. Working within Cochran's guard, Benson punches and elbows his opponent. Cochran elevates Benson and gets to his feet. Benson tries lock up a guillotine but he is thwarted and then taken down by Cochran. Benson goes for a triangle before transitioning to an armbar that Cochran quickly taps to at 2:42 of the first round.
Scott Ventimiglia vs. Lucas Lopes
Round 1
The fighters trade leg kicks and a few punches with Ventimiglia being the agressor and Lopes looking to counter. Ventimiglia scores a body-lock takedown and quickly moves to side control. He pins Lopes' left arm with his knee and strikes with punches and elbows. Lopes escapes a keylock before Ventimiglia stands up. Launching himself back into Lopes' guard, Ventimiglia nearly gets caught in a kneebar. He escapes to his feet and as Lopes is getting up he lands a knee to the head of his still-downed opponent. Ventimiglia apologizes to Lopes who is now up on a stool. Lopes wins by disqualification at 3:26 of the first round.
Tyron Woodley vs. Sal
Woods
Tyron Woodley vs. Sal Woods
Round 1
Woodley lands a nice left hand lead to open the match. He slams Woods to the mat. Woods makes it back to his feet and eats a big body shot. Woodley drives him back to the mat and passes to half guard. Woods gets his guard back and keeps Woodley close to minimize the damage. Woodley sits up in the guard and punches Woods who turns his back to him. Woodley locks up a head and arm choke that forces Woods to tap at 4:20 of the first round.
Booker DeRousse vs. James Wade
DeRousse bullies Wade up against the cage and then throws him to the mat. Wade gets back to his feet and the two men trade punches. The pace is slowing rapidly with both men showing signs of fatigue early in the first round. Wade has DeRousse hurt along the cage, he lands a flurry of punches but can't finish him. DeRousse surges back into the fight with punches of his own. Wade is hurt and backpedaling with DeRousse in hot pursuit. Wade drops for a takedown but his reversed. He gives up his back and DeRousse pounds out a stoppage win. Referee Mike England stops the assault at 4:06 of the first round.
Rafael "Feijao" Cavalcante vs. Mike Kyle
Round 1
Kyle upset
Feijao.
Kyle moving arond the outside looking for an
opening while Feijao takes the center of the cage. Feijao lands a
nice left hand that gets Kyle's attention. Not a lot of action
early in the first round as the fighters feel each other out. Kyle
lands a hard straight right at the bell to close out a lackluster
first round. Sherdog.com scores the frame 10-9 for Mike Kyle.
Round 2
Feijao hits a sloppy double-leg takedown to open the second. Kyle gets his guard but Feijao is finding the mark with his punches. Feijao is now standing in Kyle's guard. pounding away. Feijao passes to mount briefly but Kyle gets his guard back. Kyle works his way to his feet. Feijao is visibly winded and looks like he is out of shape. He is flat footed and gets clobbered with a big right hand. He falls to his back and Kyle pounces on him. Three more big right hands finish off the bout and referee Mike England steps in. After the knockout Kyle ran to Feijao's corner and began barking at Anderson Silva. Feijao is up on the stool now. Mike Kyle is the winner by knockout at 4:05 of the second round.
Jesse Finney vs. Josh Baumgartner
Round 1
Finney lands a couple leg kicks before scoring a body-lock takedown. Finney quickly passes Bumgarner's guard into side-control. He then moves to the crucifix position, trapping Bumgarner's right arm with his legs. He lands a number of punches to his defenseless oppenent before Finney transitioned to a keylock. Finney gets the submission win at 1:55 of the first round.
Kevin Randleman vs. Mike Whitehead
Round 1
Whitehead gets the action started with two low kicks that go unchecked by Randleman. Whitehead grazes the head of his opponent with a head kick and is easily dragged down to the canvas. Whitehead stands and gets a single leg against the cage. Randleman uses an elevator to escape, but he is taken directly back to the floor with another single. Randleman sweeps and stands, where he is easily dragged back down by Whitehead. The “Ultimate Fighter” veteran passes guard, which gives Randleman a back door to get to back to standing. Whitehead is bleeding from a small cut above the left eye near the temple. Randleman looks gassed and is being dominated by takedowns as Whitehead easily takes the former UFC heavyweight ace down.

Round 2
Whitehead outworked
Randleman.
A short right hand on the chin gives Randleman shaky legs. Instead
of capitalizing with his strikes, Whitehead swoops in and deposits
his foe on the floor. From half guard, Whitehead presses down on
the throat of Randleman with his elbow. Whitehead passes to side
control, where he knees the body and punches the head with his left
hand. The crowd starts to shower the cage with boos as Whitehead
smoothers his opponent and does little else. Finally, Whitehead
advances and moves to the mount. Whitehead tries to setup an
arm-triangle choke and Randleman has none of it. The former
champion stands and evades some wild haymakers from Whitehead.

Round 3
Randleman swings for the fences and clips Whitehead with an overhand right. Whitehead’s knees buckle, but the shot wasn’t solid enough to put him down. Randleman drops Whitehead flat with a left hook. Randleman pounces with hammerfists and opens up a cut on the forehead of his fellow light heavyweight. Whitehead gets to his feet and puts together a slick two-piece combination with a right and a left. Whitehead drops levels and gets an extremely easy double-leg takedown as Mark Coleman looks on disappointed from Randleman’s corner. “Get up!” shouts Coleman. Randleman listens and stands with 45 seconds left in the bout. Whitehead lands a solid right hook. Randleman throws a left hook that misses by a mile and is hit with a right before the horn sounds.

Phil Baroni vs. Joe Riggs
Round 1
Riggs misses with a headkick and gets a trip takedown shortly after. Riggs easily moves to Baroni’s back and to the mount. Baroni gets to a butterfly guard, where he eats a right hand. Baroni turns his back and Riggs briefly takes advantage with both hooks before transitioning to side control. Baroni uses his back against the cage to stand with two minutes left in the round. A scramble ensues, and Baroni finds himself on top in Riggs’ closed guard. Baroni digs into Riggs’ ribs with his right hand with several Hughes. Referee “Big” John McCarthy stands the fighters. Riggs shoots a single and Baroni defends well. Baroni rides the back and takes the top position inside the guard before the horn.

Riggs follows with a takedown, but he can’t hold his opponent down.
Baroni stands and gets a takedown of his own, where he lands two
punches before Riggs gets to his feet. Riggs attacks the lead leg
of Baroni’s with a low kick. Riggs connects with a one-two punching
combination and has a jumping knee blocked. Baroni gets a takedown
and is caught in a triangle choke. Riggs tries to secure the arm as
Baroni works himself free.

Riggs hurts Baroni with a knee to the chest. Riggs tries to pounce with another jumping knee, a punching flurry and a spinning-back kick. Baroni recovers as Riggs chops away with kicks to the legs and midsection. Another jumping knee clips the “New York Badass.” Riggs taunts his opponent as he tells him to bring it on. Riggs is absolutely picking Baroni apart with kicks, knees and the left straight. Baroni shows a good chin as the assault continues with a right hook to the temple. Riggs gets a single-leg takedown with 10 seconds left to stamp his victory.

Diaz waves Smith on and we’re off. Diaz jabs and lands a right hook before Smith goes to the clinch. The fighters separate and Diaz peppers his opponent with both hands. Smith is loading up on his punches and getting caught with everything Diaz is throwing. Smith ties up with Diaz in an effort to clear his head of cobwebs. Smith lands two hard right-hand leads, but Diaz is game. Diaz pushes his opponent to the cage and knees the thigh and body. Diaz steps off and is blasted with a right hand. Diaz is bleeding from the mouth and slammed to the canvas as he was attempting a standing kimura. Diaz stands and starts to paw away with short punches that are connecting. With 10 seconds remaining, Smith lands a hard right before being taken down.

Back to his jab goes Diaz, as he throws a straight left behind it. Smith clinches with Diaz in the center of the cage, but Diaz has none of it. Diaz absolutely unloads on Smith’s body with left and right hooks. Smith’s frame crumbles but he stays on his feet. Diaz tries to finish with more punches as Smith just covers up the best he can, trying to time a knockout counter punch. Smith gets off the fence and Diaz doubles up with his jab. Smith lands a left to the body of his own, but it seems to only upset Diaz. The Stockton native pours it on again with his unique flavor of boxing. With 10 seconds remaining, Diaz clips Smith and sends him to his knees.

Nick Diaz refuses to touch gloves to kickoff the final frame. Smith opens up with his hands and Diaz stops him in his tracks with a left to the body from an orthodox stance. Smith drops to his knees in search of a desperation takedown. Diaz hops on his back and finishes in seconds with a rear-naked choke at 1:41 of the third.
Andrei Arlovski vs. Brett Rogers
Round 1
Arlovski keeps Rogers at bay with a low kick to the lead leg. Rogers pounces with a left hook that sets up a hard flurry against the cage. Another left hook ends it as “Big” John McCarthy steps in to save Arlovski at 0:22 of round one. Arlovski's chin continues to plague the gifted fighter as 8,867 watch on in attendance.
Robbie Lawler vs. Jake Shields
Round 1
Lawler comes straight forward after absorbing a low kick and is taken down by a single leg. Lawler stands and clinches with Shields against the fencing. Lawler backs off and unloads with his hands. Shields struggles to Lawler down twice from the clinch and fails. Shields pulls guard with an arm-in guillotine choke. Lawler stands trying to break the hold, but is brought back to the canvas. Lawler gives one last effort to escape before tapping to the hold at 2:02 of the first.
