(PRESS RELEASE) -- MSG Plus announced today that it will telecast
two full seasons of the Bellator Fighting Championships this year,
marking the first live MMA series for the network. The action kicks
off with the debut of Season 2 on Thursday, April 8 at 8:00
p.m.
Bellator will be featured on MSG Plus* every Thursday night from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. between April 8 and October 28 in two successive 12-week runs. Season 2 airs from April 8 to June 24, while Season 3 premieres on August 12 and ends October 28.

2009. Each event features eight-man tournaments from four possible

(middleweight).
On opening night from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, Roger Huerta makes his highly anticipated return against Chad Hinton in the first round of the lightweight tournament. Other first round action includes Janne Tulirinta vs. Carey Vanier (lightweight), Eric Marriott vs. Joe Warren (featherweight), and Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Bao Quach (featherweight).
