NAAFS Update

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The 3rd Annual NAAFS Rock N Rumble will be headlined by a SuperFight in the Pro Series Heavyweight Division, as area favorite Tony Sylvester (12-1-1) of Canton, OH makes his long-awaited NAAFS debut against Pride, Dream, and six-time UFC veteran Jeff “The Snowman” Monson (28-7), in one of the most prolific fights ever held inside the NAAFS Cage. Sylvester is a name very familiar to the NAAFS Nation, making a name for himself in the early days of MMA on SportsTime Ohio.

Originally training with Team Instigator, Sylvester has since relocated to the Midwest Training Center in Chicago, IL in preparation for what many are calling the biggest opportunity of his career.

The NAAFS’ open door policy continues as the promotion is pleased to welcome submission grappling & MMA legend Jeff “The Snowman” Monson to the Pro Series Heavyweight division. A veteran of both Pride and Dream, many experts point to his run in the UFC where he headlined UFC 65, going five round against then Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia as the high point of his career.

Now Monson welcomes the opportunity to prove himself once again, this time against a hungry young warrior who wants to be many of the same places that Monson has been. Will Tony Sylvester pull off the biggest victory of his career or will Jeff “The Snowman” Monson prove once again why he is considered amongst the top heavyweight fighters in the world?
